Has anyone used these for deer and hog hunting - any problems?

I killed a deer with a Powerbelt with the aero tip last year (245 gr IIRC), and it did a fine job.

I have some of these to test on the range. When I get around to shooting them I will let you know how they do on paper.

They don't perform well with magnum loads at close ranges and light loads at long ranges. Under 2000fps and over 1000fps they work well.

I have killed 40 plus deer with them. from dead in tracks most of time to going 70 yards.I have recovered a few of them. Never weighted one . liked the looks of what they looked like and damage done. Shooting 2 50 grain pellets.

Has anyone used these for deer and hog hunting - any problems?

I've used them in my Thompson Center impact and Traditions Timber Ridge. Both rifles have taken deer, which was my goal. I am using two White Hot pellets and the accuracy from both is 2" at 100 yards.

They don't do as well in my CVA Optima V2, so I am going to try the Hornady Bore Driver 290 FTXs which seem to have great reviews.
