Any kind of warning with the bipod to not use in a plastic stock?

Why not call them up and ask them?

Give me the phone number, and i'll do it.
Excellent point you brought-up Old Timer on the Warning issue ;)

I added this Post link as an " UPDATE " at the end of my Review on this BiPod so that others don't end-up with a forearm like FG's. Hopefully FG will come up with a fix to his forearm which others might use to strengthen their stocks if they choose to use this BiPod.

p.s. I forwarded this Post to Vanguard.
Good deal. I'm curious what they'll say. I really wanted to use one.

ok guys, i finally got around to it but im working on the Optima's forearm since that bi pod mainly will be used on this'n.

I did a lot of file work to get the broken stuff ground down, epoxied it and started shaping/sanding on it. I will let it set up over night for now and in the morning i'll add another layer of epoxy to build up the low spots.

The Optima has a lot of meat in the forearm so this should hold up.

I'll use the tee bolt trick and maybe build a bed for it to sit on inside of the forearm.

Sounds strong enough. Can't wait to see it when you are finished.
