Another crappie fishing trip 10/22/18

Caught 61 crappie in 5 hrs out kept 31, water temps are about 62 deg.. caught on weedless jigs with curly tail grubs in 14 ft water 7-12 ft down.

Here is my favorite Crappie jig for dipping in lilly pads when the Crappie are staging to spawn, its a Shad bait and my favorite color was a Brown With some glitter in it, Crappie sucked these things up like Vacuum cleaners

We went back yesterday and caught 96 and kept 30 nice ones..they are drawing down reservoir now so not sure how many more times will get to get out..
