The minimum load in my manual is 80 gr of Pyrodex for a 250 grain bullet. I personally start looking for a load at 90 grain sand usually end up between 110 and 130.

All hail the XTP! The non-mag 250 and 300's will expand down to below 800 fps. They make a superb batch of chest soup!
