Can someone help with ballistics? I will be shooting T/C Omega .50 caliber with 110 grains of Blackhorn 209. I will be using Barnes Spit-Fire T-EZ load in 290 grain configuration. How high do I need to be at 50 yards to be dead on at 100 yards? I have shot Powerbelts in the past, but am trying somethimg new this year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Normally if you are in the area of two inches high at 50 yards, the bullet will be dead on or near to it at 100 yards. But the problem with that statement is not all bullets fly the same. I would sight in at two inches high and then get back to the 100 and see where it hits.. Good luck. That is a real monster load you have there. Nothing better get in your way.

I know with 2 T7 pellets and 290 TMZ, dead on at 100 is 1" high at 50. ( Knight Disc Elite with scope)

You might get a rough idea from this, "0" is at 125, I consider 175 Point Black for deer. This is liable to be different from one gun to an other because if the sabot bullet to barrel fit is tighter you can develope more velocity. Hope this helps. Lee
