This is my first year using a ML for Whitetails and I am looking at using Barnes Spitfire TMZ 250gr. I am planning on having shots under 100yds and most probably under 50yds. I was wondering if anyone had used these on deer or had a better bullet to recommend.

Kansas ML season starts Sept. 9 and I am planning on being out there in the heat!

The standard Spitfire 245 has worked great for me. I'm sure the 250 TMZ will work at least as well, if not better.

Mountain Man,
Thanks for the input. It's a week and a half till the ML season opens in Ks. It is going to be hot. There will be bugs and ticks, but at least I will be looking at deer. :D
