I have had a seize up of vent liner and breech plug in my 10MLII (20+ shots of 4759) when using the Birchwood Casey Choke Tube anti-seize lube. Maybe I didn't get enough of it on the vent liner, but sure don't want this to occur again.

What is considered to be the best anti-seize lube?

How much do you apply to the vent liner before installation?

Can you apply "too much" of the lube?

Thanks, Dave

There is a video on Randy Wakeman's site of Henry Ball lubing a breechplug and I believe he uses Birchwood Casey choke tube lube. Randy recommends Never-Seez Blue Moly. I have only used Thompson Center anti seize and have had great results. Supposedly any Mil-Spec 907E Anti-Seize (Permatex, bostic, Etc.) will work. I have also heard of people using teflon thread tape with good results. Hope this helps.
