Browning Mountain Rifle

I need parts for a Browning Mountain Rifle .54.  Any help would be appreciated.  Specifically, lock parts.

Welcome to the board Hosdoc, by chance have you tried Track of the Wolf or Dixie Gun Works to see if they might help with the part?

Thanks.  I have sourced all the usual places.  A Canadian company purchased all the Browning inventory years ago.  They have since sold all their parts also.  I hate to stop using this rifle so may have to have a gunsmith build some lock parts.  This one has notches for elk, deer, antelope and bear plus 36 years of local shoots and Rendezvous.  I would purchase another one but the .54s are hard to come by or are about 4000 rds down the road like mine.

A friend has one of those rifles.   Those fine rifles were made in Utah in the early 1980s.   Methinks the lock is an old  Browning design.
