one truly gorgeous shot gun. looks like that some one has gouged out the makers name on the barrel rib? i have one and it has the mfg's name engraved on it. and no butt plate. were they all mfg with out any butt plate. were any of them sold as complete shotguns? mine was a kit from C. V. A. , in HADDAM, CONN. 45 years ago. with a load of 70 GRS. of 1 FG. and hornets nest over powder and two .720 RB'S one in each barrel topped with more hornets nest, they will cross and impact 1 inch apart approx at 75 yards. not bad. have taken 3 ROEBUCK with it and many rabbits and birds.
