CVA .40

I just read where CVA has a new .40 ML. Said it is faster than a .300 Win Mag. I think around 2850 fps. Uses a skirted type bullet it appears.

I can get 2900 out of my .30-06 so maybe at a minimum load it’s faster than a .300 win mag. Probably one heck of a gun still though. 3300 FPS-2875 FPS is where Wikipedia lists the .300 at.

I had not realized the other postings. I do not look at everything on this site and had missed that. Sorry about a "double" post. Only got the info from CVA directly and posted not realizing others were well aware before. One can move my post or delete it to avoid confusion.
