CVA Accura MR firing pin retainer

Noticed a problem with my action locking up on my accura. I noticed my firing pin retainer backed out slightly. Broke rifle down and cleaned pin assembly and all is good now. Just a heads up I used my accura for most of firearm and muzzleloader season so it was toted around a lot. I always clean my firearms after discharge but I`ll pay more attention to making sure pin assembly is clean and tight. Good day.

We found shims that fit the post 2010 firing pin bushings. Forgot where but those might help some people to keep the breech cleaner. CVA used to sell some but stopped selling them. One of the guys here found some on McMasters...i think. At the very least you can tighten it down without being badly recessed in the frame.
