From rifle to bottles is 25 yard. Charge is 80 grain Blackhorn.

The first two bottles totally destroyed. Third bottle holed through, Bullet found in grass beside horse.

Thanks Again Ron, I'm a little surprised at this test as I would have thought being the 40-1 is a little harder that it would have gone through the 4th jug and it seemed to lose a little more weight than the Pure bullet? In any case, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the three bullets for hunting.

I for one really appreciate your time in testing these bullets. By the way, I just love the area where you shoot! It must offer some great hunting opportunities?
 
The little bullet performed exceptionally well in all Tests :lewis:

Seems like this bullet lost a little more weight because it is more brittle, Agree all versions of the bullet work good. Really like the large meplat.

Yes, it is a nice area to hunt. Plenty of whitetail, and elk.

Finished shooting in time to make it all the way home before storm (snow) came.
