Distance between rifle & bottles = 25 yard. Powder charge = 80 grain Blackhorn.

The first three bottles are destroyed. The bullet bounced off the fourth bottle, out into the snow, about 10 feet left, and behind the horse.

WOW, thanks for Testing Tom!! This is what I was hoping for! Sorry I couldn't respond earlier as I was busy making house renovations. Man at 70 my body is telling me to start laying off doing this physical stuff and leave if for the younger generation!.

I don't understand why the NoExcuses bullet doesn't look like this too? Both are pure lead.

Because Noexcuse are traveling slower; they are heavier. It stands to reason they wouldn't expand as much.

btw...I'm thinking about the 420gr NE.

The 420g Noexcuse on the left is not only flying slower; it also has a smaller meplat.
