That is how I got my new Chrony. I let my buddy shoot my old one. The look on his face was priceless. I'm sure the look on my face was too. I had a friend who tried to shoot prairie dogs off the bed rail of his pickup. He missed three times and couldn't figure out why until he "saw the light" of three holes in the other side of his bed. That difference between line of sight and line of bullet is sometimes very important.

A lot of folks here have “rescued” a muzzleloader with a neglected bore. I’d think somebody here must have experience rescuing a chrony.
