LOL no it doesn't. The maximum safe charge is 84 g by weight, I agree with you 100%,but, sometimes people get carried away with too much of a good thing. They also have muzzleloaders out designed for "magnum" charges.
 
A magnum charge is 150 volume grains of black powder, which is most guns sold new today. Subs are generally around 15 or 20% of the 150 by volume. T7 and Bh209 are 20% less. I think a lot of new people get confused between the subs and black powder usage first off when they see magnum then further mixed up between weight and volume when one or the other is n.
 
not to start an argument but i believe that the paramount is calling for 150 gV of BH209 which is 105 g by weight

Maybe think of the Paramount as a semi-custom gun due to its extra capacity.

Hard to think of the rifle as a semi-custom, when its actually production. I believe in the very close future you'll find more production rifles capable of that charge.
