I have never seen a robbin with that much white? Pretty cool :yeah:
Many years ago We had a Robin show up on our place with a weird looking Top notch thing on it’s head?? Almost like a Quail. I seen it several times so it was obviously nesting close by, one day i had a chance to look it over really good with my 12 Power Binocular’s, I am 99% sure it was a Cockle Burr? We had those things bad in certain areas on the Wa coast, they were fairly large, about the size of a Cherry. That Robin sported that the whole Summer
The old adage that robins need snow on their tail 3 times before spring arrives seems to be holding true here this year. We've still got as much snow, some of it darned deep too, as we have bare ground.
