Hey guys,

Muzzleloading newbie here in the process of setting up a TC Omega for hunting yotes. I posted yesterday in the "New to Muzzleloading" forum, looking for some advice on the setup. I see there is more discussion here on coyotes so I figured I'd place a link here and ask that you take a look and comment with any advice.

Thanks!

Have you had any luck with the Omega? I missed two this last weekend from 30 yrds then from 150. I couldnt belive it

IMO use a bullet that has minimal expansion if you are after the pelts.

You might try a 40/50 180-200gr FMJ/TMJ RNFP plated IF they shoot well for you. VERY hard cast bullets will have almost no expansion either.

Im trying to come up with a 357/45 varmint load now but sofar the 40/45s have been better. Going to try some 357 TMJ or cast RN 158-180grs next.
