Thanks

There is a G series whitetail but this is not it. The whitetail has a heavier barrel and two action screws. The regular 97 has a lighter weight barrel and one action screw. These are both non whitetail g series

OK, thanks. Would like a Whitetail. Good prices though and they won't last long.

This is incorrect information. These are g series whitetail models. I think the m97 whitetail have the heavier barrel

That guy shown in the picture with Doc White is Chuck Fish. This was taken during the first DWB hunt in Michigan on the Thunder Hills Preserve. We all shot very large Russian boars on that hunt. Even if I didn’t get one, just hunting and talking to Doc was worth it. The amount of knowledge he has and shared with all was unbelievable. Not to mention being a great guy just to talk to and gentleman.
I’ll have to post my picture with Doc my boar later when I get home.

You could always have a second recoil lug added to the rear trigger guard. I believe Ed had one done. Just as good as the model 97!
Nah. I don’t shoot that much. I actually like the feel of the G series
