I have a nearly 200 year old musket that I am looking for information on. Does anyone know the history on when L. Pomeroy began converting flintlocks to percussion cap smooth bore muskets?

I have been looking at google images of 1816 conversions but have not found exactly the model that I have. It was picked up in Up state New York about 55-60 years ago by my late grand father.

This model does not have a date stamp or the eagle stamped into the lock plate. L. Pomeroy is stamped on the lock. The barrel length is 31" For it's age this thing is in real nice shape.

It has a proof mark on the top of the barrel

The rear sling mount is not on the trigger guard but is located just in front of it. It is missing the middle barrel band and you can see where the stock had been repaired where it used to be. There is pitting on top of the barrel at that point so I am sure that there was a middle barrel band at some point during it's life time.

Thanks in advance for any information that you guys can provide.
