i have gotten into muzzleloadeing the last couple of years and now my dad wants to get into it. i shoot and omega and love it, simple to opperate and accurate. what should i recomend for him? he wanted to look at an Electra but i am a little leary of the new technologie. i want to suggest a TC model just cause of my luck with the omega. with there being new models since the omega is there a better choice for a beginer?

The Omega, the Triumph would be what I would recommend to him. Or a Knight Rolling Block. All of them in .50 caliber. Then some good optics and he should be all set. If Minnesota allowed Smokeless powder then a Savage ML-10 might also be a good choice.

The Electra I would stay away from as far as I could....
