I am definitely a newbie to Muzzleloading. I don't even have one, yet. I just ordered a Traditions Pursuit Ambust Package with Scope from Cabela's. I have shot my son-in-law's and he will help me with mine, so I should be able to avoid "some" newbie mistakes. I plan on hunting deer with it. I got on this forum since I'm the type to research everything as much as possible and this forum appears to be the place to go for muzzleloaders. I haven't even shot a deer yet, since I have concentrated on turkey hunting in the past, but I'm going to stick with my shotgun for turkey.
Initially, I will do a lot of lurking on this site since I don't contribute anything if I don't have anything to contribute. But, after awhile, I will get involved in things once I get confortable with them.
