You're shooting my kind of load,, Don't let the hot rods influence you here!! there gluttons for recoil, once black horn is $20 a round to fire they're not going not be shooting those hot loads anyway,
I like to load like it already IS $20 a round. Not a big fan of the recoil myself.

I think it's like buying a Harley that does 150 miles an hour and only driving it 150 miles an hour.

No motor swap here. I have popped the clutch and laid rubber with mine.
$2.00 per ELR
$1.14 for 98 Grains of Blackhorn.
$0.20 per primer new prices.

$3.34 per shot. I can always do that.

$0.10 for lead, PC, molds, pot, sizer.
$0.86 for 75 grains of Blackhorn.
$0.03 for primers new old stock.

$0.99 per shot.

I can shoot a lot more and have just as much fun. The next 5 lb jug I find of Blackhorn will drop those prices.

Or drive it 150 MPH

I bought my Paramount to do everything from 10 MPH to 150 MPH. It seems to do it all well.
Sometimes I just want to see what if and try different bullets.

YMMV

I cast them at .454 WW +2% tin.
I size them to .452 then powdercoat up to .454 - .455
Then size to fit with Hankins sizer to fit usually around .453.
A Fury 265 STB will fall through my clean bore and seat with about 10 pounds of pressure with a fouled bore.

All loads are with a .45 felt wad.

Powdercoated bullets size like budda.
