Do muzzleloaders such as the T/C Impact and the Traditions Strikerfire offer additional real world foul weather protection for the primer compared to other muzzleloaders? The T/C Impact has the sliding hood which covers the primer. The Strikerfire does not have an exposed primer. Do these features protect the primer from rain?
