I recently bought a new model optima, should I use some anti-seize on the threads? This new optima is defiantly a step up from my current optima!!!

It never hurts to lube it a touch but its not needed on the QRBP.

Thank for the info FG. It looked like there was alittle when in unscrewed it after I got it out of the box. Also I am wanting to shoot some BH later on, can you get the CCI 209M in quanitys less that 1000?

if you can find a store that sells them by the box, thats the only way.

CVA always lubes the plug with anti seize, i think its more for rust protection and to clean out any metal shavings that may still be in there.

I have been using teflon on my older model optima, has worked out great, alot less of a mess than the anti-seize
