If, after installing your new scope on your rifle, you find that your impact point is low at 100 yds., and you have run out of elevation adjustment. Simply install a fifteen-thousands shim under the rear base and you will gain about 12" of new elevation adjustment.

The above described problem has appeared with the use of some (not all) Leupold "Rifleman" scopes.
