My new Triumph shot very well with Barnes sabots, but with a new primer loaded, it took two hands to close the action. Made me think the primer pocket in the speed breach was not drilled deep enough.
I called T/C Customer Service and was told the issue was the wrong primers? I was using Winchester primers, and the agent told me any other primers would work great? Anyone else ever have this happen?

I have no experience with the triumph. The older winchester primers had a visible shelf or increase in diameter about 1/2 way back and seem to fit tighter in my 700ml plugs. I would try others to see if they work better.

I found some Federal 209, going to the range today to give it a try.

Shot about 30 rounds with T/C Shockwave Sabots and two T7 pellets. Federal 209 primers worked great.Very accurate at 100 yards. Very satisfied. I will save the Winchester primers for my back up Knight Wolverine.
