Farm and fleet in Bloomington Il has these for 21.00 about even price 6 cents more per sabot. considering shipping buying 100xtps and harvester sabot sleeves. I’ve been curious how they will shoot out of the DISC, I tried 300 grain, 2” at 100. The .429 240 grain were MOA. With 70 gr 2f 777 but the the hunting round in Illinois needs to be .44 or better. At this point with hunting shortages I’d settle for a .36. Figure good way to test a bullet….

If you are shooting the .429 bullets that good, I would use them for hunting. They are considered a 44 cal. bullet.

Those will make a potent deer load.

Illinois requires all muzzle loading projectiles for deer to be .44 or larger. That is Illinois it is dumb.

Yes IDNR states that the projectile shall be at least .44 cal. Which a .429 bullet is a 44 cal bullet. Use what shoots good.
