Trigger broke on brand new Savage ML/10 11 XP

I am new to the board. I bought a new Savage Muzzleloader and used it for deer season in West Virginia and my trigger locks everytime I switch off my safety. I had to send it back to the factory and miss my neighboring state of Ohio season. I am a little discouraged and wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

The factory told me this was very rare. Please help me with any information.

savage trigger

I have heard of it happening from time to time over at the "Savage Shooters" forum but mostly on the Stevens 200 model that does not have the accu-trigger.

Savage service is top notch...be patient.
