Building a .40 caliber 1:16 twist under hammer. Planning on shooting 400 grain paper patched bullets with @80 grains of FFg goex or pyrodex select.
I have neck fusion at C5,6,7. Is this going to be much worse than shooting 12ga shotgun? I can handle 30-06 for a few rounds.
Should I plan on getting a sissy pad? I’m putting a 1” shotgun butt pad on the stock.
just don’t want to touch this off the first time and do more damage to my neck.
