I was messing around yesterday. I had a few quick loads loaded up. I got them out and put them on the scale. I had 5 measure up. I went thru checking the weight. 4 out of 5 was 1.6 gr low. The 5th one was 1.1 gr over. So from now on i will be using the scales. That way i know my powder charge is right each time.

I am going to play around and shoot out to 300. Just getting used to the gun. And the new scope i put on it. Thats why i started using the scale.

The Lee dippers can be very consistent if you use the same consistent technique in the dipping, but do not expect them to throw exactly what the Lee slide rule says will be the charge weight.
Your preaching to the choir buddy. I’ve been using Lee dippers to load sub MOA ammo for 20 years.
