On 8-9-08 I shot the Scorpion PT Gold 300gr with 110 gr Bh209
I had vertical stringing with 3 shots at 100 yds

then on 8-16-08 I shot the same bullet with different componets very
poor groups
This morning I shot the Scorpion PT Gold 300 gr with 110 BH209 at 100 yds with the mmp short sabot

As you can see just one change can make a big difference
all were shot with 110 gr BH-209 Federal 209a primer same bullet
just a sabot change
Thanks Busta and Big 6X6 for the previous post on sabot size
That post should be a sticky Sabots are a very important componet

Good post ! Windy, maybe it will turn on the light for some who buy a package deal on sabot and bullet and can't understand why that don't work some times.
I have believed for a long time that the right sabot is more critical than the right bullet, the right sabot is found with greater easy if you eliminate some of them before you start shooting.
