that's a heck of a good price as long as they don't want 100.00 to ship it.

Here's your chance to have rifle that Doc has worked on.

I wonder if it was doc who worked on the mounting hole for the side mounted peep sight?

Listed as 1:28 twist, I never owned one with that twist . Really unique :) :). Obviously seller doesn’t know Whites very well

If I hadn't bought a G series .451 the day before this would have been mine. I saw it about 5 mins after it posted, congrats it looks very nice.

This rifle should get to Minnesota in a few days. https://utahgunexchange.com/ads/white-s ... 1-caliber/
What does he mean "it needs a nut brazed to the barrel" ?? I assume the action screw that holds the hammer assembly? :huh?:

This is the million dollar question. It was over a week ago when I first talked to Kent. From the best I can figure he is talking about the round lug, the one that the bolt goes through the trigger guard. No damage to the receiver just the nut is loose where it attaches. I will know more soon!

I looked at that 1 a few days ago, Had it been Stainless i would have grabbed it!

I will say that I like stainless but some of my best shooting rifles are blued. My belief is that stainless is a little more forgiving if you don't clean your gun immediately. If you take care of your guns the way I do, blued barrels work out just fine.
