$699was the price of a tominator in 1997....per the catalog.Doc has one with a laminate stock NIB 700.
Contendrnut looks like he's getting out of the White business. 5 or 6 rifles on gunbroker. I hope he doesn't reduce em too much more.....

The whitetail has only one lug holding the entire barrel/breech assembly to the stock. I prefer two lugs like the model 97's have. You could have an additional lug attached.
They are still accurate gun's.
I dont believe that it makes a dif unless your shooting heavy bullets or real hot loads.Not looking to get rid of the s91 just been wanting a 45 to mess with and have seen several g series whitetail. Is the lug that big of a problem?
