My brother-in-law bought a new wolf before last years deer season came in. We took it to the range and found that it will only fire a certain type of primer (777 primers) we tried all other brands but they will not go. It seems that the pin does not strike the others as deeply as it does the Trip 7s. CVA says send it back and they'll fix it and that's probably what he'll do. But this one has me baffled. Any thoughts? As a side note, he had a heart attack walking back to his stand and didn't get to hunt anyway. But after the Trip bypass they did, he is supposed to be good to go for next year. Oh, and this is the old style Wolf not the new one with quick breech plug.
