brass vs nylon bore brush

which do you prefer ? why do you think one is better than the other ? what are the pros and cons vs each other ?
my brass one didn't last long befor it lost it's grip inside the barrel but my nylon one is still doing good .
just wondering what others have experienced or think .

I use only the brass/bronze brushes. They're cheap and when they lose their grip, I toss them. Same with the mops.

When BH209 powder, my cleaning boils down to a jag and a few patches. The only time I use either a mop or brush is when I have been shooting T7.

Right tool for right job. Brass brush for hard caked on stuff, lead/copper deposits, etc. Nylon for softer crud, pre-treating the harder stuff and such.
