dwm provided this bullet; spoke of excellent performance by bullet on deer.

From rifle out to bottles is 25 yard.

Powder charge is 50 grain Blackhorn.

Bullet destroyed first two bottles; began veering right; inflicted damage on third bottle passing through. Bullet went through fourth bottle, and fifth bottle; bounced off sixth bottle, and was found out about 15 feet behind horse on the grass.

Maybe not designed for ML velocity or extended range?

You must drink a ton of water ron, that looks good
 
I wonder what the effective range would be with 90, I know it’s devastating at 100 yards, i may not find out since my hunting land is changing for next season. thanks again ron
 
Actually, the bottled water is only used to catch bullets. Drinking water comes from the faucet, or the creek, or the spring.

One should be able to calculate the effective range if one knows the BC of the bullet, and the muzzle velocity when one uses 90g of powder. One does the calculation, then makes the effective range where the bullet speed drops to 1300 fps or so.
