Yours fits better than the one I received. Mine needs a little dremel work to snug up
to the receiver. I agree the adapter seems quite strong and I think it will take the recoil.
I’m curious to know what your handy little carbine weighs?

I found another site you can put one on backorder, but it's been like that since the first of the year.

A site called impactguns.com.. They have 3 different ones listed , two with red dot scopes and one without. The two with red dots are no longer available but the one without says - out of stock, taking backorders ($385.69). Don't know how legit it is ? Like I said it's been that way since the 1st of the year. At the time I was looking high and low for one and I happened upon that site.

I called and emailed muzzleloaders.com and after a couple days someone got back with me. they said if u ordered one on backorder u will definately get one, it will probably be late may or June before u get it. price wasn't too bad I didn't think.

I wonder if this adapter would be worth reverse engineering and designing a 3d printed model?

I believe the farrowtech adapter already is 3D printed. If you mean designing another adapter with a different grip angle, or configuration, than go for I say.

I thought this was a new idea to put a stock on an inline pistol but Doc White has always been way ahead.

I think that it's safe to say that for a good portion of his life Doc White was thinking/designing/building muzzleloading guns far beyond whatever the current curve that existed at a particular time was.

To say that he thought outside of the box, really doesn't give the man credit where credit is due. From my dozen, or so, conversations on the phone with him my takeaway is that for most of his life there was no box constraining his thinking.

Just my 2 cents.

I just came across this thread thanks to it being brought back to life.
Thanks for the bullet/sabot information toytruck and Mr Tom. ( Sorry for the “like” a year after your posts ).
I’ve had mine for almost three years but have not shot it. I have a 2x Leupold to try since my TC Scout .54 cal is open sights. I haven’t shot that in a long time either.

I just had mine out at the range Sunday. Shot 10 shots with the "Triple 8" powder that i scavenged from some Fire Sticks i picked up at malwart. 80gr volume under TC Cheapshots. A few shots a 25 yards then out to 100yds. Ive got a nikon prostaff 6x fixed power on it that is not too bad.

25yds. Thought i had 100 yd pics but can't find them.

Glad you had an opportunity to get out and have some fun.
I also have one or two Leupold 4x laying around. Never considered mounting a 4x on it. Have a three ring set of T-SOB I could wrap it in.
