    White Super 91 .451

I am thinking about getting out of the black powder game. Might be putting this rifle and accurate bullet mold up for sale if there is any interest. I have never shot this rifle and the only time the mold has been used is when I shipped it to Ed to cast me some.

Sweet! Thanks again Ed and am glad to see they group well. Got me hankering to get mine out. That's a .8" group by benchrest measurements. Sub MOA with big hunks of lead.

Looking for a Long range target scope.

If you are talking 300 yd bench rest style target shooting the higher power the better. I would go Sightron SII 36X or Weaver T36. If you are going for the smallest aggs possible then 36X will be your friend.

    Peep sight for Triumph

Check out See All Open Sights. Haven't used them yet, but looks like a cool concept.

    Theory versus reality

G1 works best for short flat base bullets. G7 will work best with long boat tail bullets meant for long range like Berger, SMK, and Amax. That is the simple answer from Accurate Shooter.

    Theory versus reality

I've never used JBM so can't rightly say, but Shooter has independently verified BCs by Bryan for the most popular rifle bullets. That is valuable as we all know manufacturers have been known to inflate advertised BCs. I would think that JBM would probably give similar solutions when the same...

    Theory versus reality

Do you have a chronograph? You really need to shoot your gun through one to get close on a shooting solution with an app. I use the Shooter app by Bryan Litz for my CF rifle and it is scary accurate once you plug in actual velocity, altitude, and atmospherics. Knowing the correct BC of chosen...

I am either Friday or Saturday. I have to get sighted in for our muzzleloader season that starts on 12 December. I'll provide results.

Thanks. Rifle season starts here this Saturday so it will be some time after before I get to shoot them.

I sent my mold to Ed as I don't have everything to cast with yet. Ed is a hell of a guy and made the bullets above for me with my mold. They weigh around 522 grains and are 1.3" long. Thanks again Ed! I just made a batch of a modified Emmert's lube to pan lube the rest of the bullets. The lube...

Alright, I'm going to show my ignorance here on White rifles, but how do you remove the hammer assembly to get the breech plug out?

    Olde Eynsford vs Regular Goex

I wish I could find some Swiss locally. Cabelas is opening up in a few months here in town so might be able to score some there. Best I am going to do for now is Olde Eynsford or regular Goex.

This rifle will never see a sabot. Will be shooting my big uglies after I shoot up the No Excuses that I have. I appreciate the gesture, but I like the one you sent with it. I thought it was a genius of an idea to have the round end for conical loading. Don't know if that was the intent of it...
