    Reasonable Range/ accuracy ?

I certainly see your point . i feel the rifle is more than i am when shooting open sights . that is about all i can do with open sights and a 22lr. at that range I will certainly be trying to become more precise with practice and having a blast in the process.

Anybody draw for Colorado ML bear seasons?

Ok fellas , in years past I have always hunted elk in Colorado with a rifle. This year I was considering drawing for elk in ml season (sept) not needing the meat I am considering just drawing for a bear tag. I see that in the area I hunt (77) there is a month long rifle bear hunt in sept...

He may not of liked your remarks or even your or others political agenda but he would have been one of the first to defend your right to express it.

Took advantage of the cold weather.

    Hog Bullets

I agree hole heartedly! The hog I spoke of was the largest I had ever killed. We hear of a 400lber every year or so, those large boars that are trapped are sold to hunting pens for "TROPHIES " for those who can't hunt but like to brag.

    When is enough?

It would be asking too much to just extend the rifle season and leave the primitive season alone.. society is interested only instant gratification and sportsmen are not exempt. Lord forbid somebody have to pass on an animal because it is just out of range or had to pass because it was getting...

    When is enough?

Yesterday I was visiting my neighbor (more capable than most) who I travel to CO. to elk hunt with . He made the comment I wish we could use a scope on our ML out there. My first thought was it would make it that much harder to draw a tag. He asked how I figured that? Well more folks would...
