I got this 8 pt opening day of the 2012 Ohio Muzzleloader season, I shot him from a blind at sunset. He was trailing 4 does in a hay field. The shot was from 145yd's I used a 45 cal Knight DISC Elite, that I just purchased on this site. The load was 200gr Hornady sst, tan sabot, 100gr BH, and Win 209 primer. The deer ran about 25 yards, the shot was quartering towards me, I held just behind the right forleg, it took out his heart and passed through him and exited just in front of left rear leg. Needless to say i am very pleased with this Knight and the load.

I mainly hunt with a .45 and I use Hornady bullets exclusively. They have never let me down.
