325 aeromax 600 yards

First group I've shot at 600 yards with a smokeless muzzleloader,, this is Arrowhead Howa 1500 build , Krieger 18 twist barrel , 45 Cal pretty constant wind. Just slightly under 2 and 1/4 inches

Just using my reticle subtensions and holding about 8 inches of wind

I shot a lot at 400 and 450 time to stretch things out a little more

63 grains of h4198,, my barrel contour can handle a little more powder but 63 grains and 325 bullet I think it is going to take me out to 800 maybe even a thousand

I'm going to have to try it again with less wind, maybe even put up a couple of wind flags, I really was just sitting down and going bang, pick better conditions and more constant wind I think I can get an inch and a half group at 600

45 Cal smokeless shoot themselves almost ,,it's just flat scary how accurate they are, I really like the 18 twist and a 325 and also the 350 aeromax,, and thanks,, reading here for years helped me a lot .

Yea goin from 400 to 600yds is a nice stretch for sure. Way to read the wind too.
