I’m sending some brass with my dies to hornady. The guy said if he can’t repair my die he would give me a new one.Should send a couple cases out to someone that has dies for them to check???

Pretty sure i have the same rifle as you. Ruger Go Wild American? Ive never used a case checker, i use the Lee dies and never had a round that didn't fit/feed/fire just fine. 200 rounds so far. With the exception of when i load a round then put in a loaded 3 round mag, thats when i would get a jam, on the next round.I’m sending some brass with my dies to hornady. what is final trim length after sizingYes I love all the cases with hornady 1 shot. Some of the cases fall right in the ammo checker beautiful and some stop short. I wipe them off and resize and same thing.
I haven’t trimmed yet but my brass measure 1.690-1.693what is final trim length after sizing

For some reason I thought you had the ruger, which also has a 1:16”.I had a Remington 700 built with a 21” shillen select 16 twist barrel.
have you measured the diameter of case at just before the rim, one to two thousandth will keep it from chamberingI haven’t trimmed yet but my brass measure 1.690-1.693
should be at 1.695 for case length and seating depth of bullethave you measured the diameter of case at just before the rim, one to two thousandth will keep it from chambering
Very nice rifle, it deserves to be shot more lolHere's the one I shoot. I just don't shoot it very often. Probably been maybe 3yrs.
HS Precision, Lothar Walther 1:24, Leupold VX6. It had a Timney trigger but now its a Jewell.

I measured length many times and yes I’m at 1.695-1.692” I haven’t measured the barrel by the case head though. I should go do that.should be at 1.695 for case length and seating depth of bullet
Ok I measured near the base and I’m getting.499-.500 doesn’t make any senseshould be at 1.695 for case length and seating depth of bullet
Curiosity ............Ok I measured near the base and I’m getting.499-.500 doesn’t make any sense
Yes that’s all I have does for is full length. I’m going to get some rcbs dies and try them while my die is being sent back to hornady.Curiosity ............
I measured 5 of mine. At the head they measured .4970".
I measured right below the base of the bullet at .4855"
Without going back and reading everything, have you tried loading the full length sized cases only?

Ultimate Firearms gun. Built by RJ maybe?I talked with Dennis about what happened and he told me it was the wrong bullet to try. I get pretty good long range accuracy with the 250's.
