I just got two accurate I molds 45 and 50 cal . These are the first I got from Tom and they are perfect. Going to get a 565 grain one for my long range target but will save that for another new post.

Gents, Ill reveal my ignorance by asking can you tell when bullets come from an aluminum, iron, or other molds????
And if so how?????
I believe the main difference is the alum molds change temp quicker than steel. Also steel is more durable. An alum mold heats up faster but also cools faster. You have to " stay in rhythm" when casting with an alum mold for consistency.
