I used older shotgun hulls that has cardboard. In the base of the hull. Clean it out then pull the plastic hull part out. After getting cardboard out. Take another hull pour right powder charge in. Mark it by sight. Then pour powder back out. Then trim the hull to the marked place. Then fit them together. I make them out of throw away hulls. In 28 20 and 12 hulls. Below i have 2 pictures. What they look like after there done. I always made a few on rainy cold day. Now the hulls have a second life.
