Conical lube

Conical shooters.

Maybe a dumb question but I have not shot conicals. Want to try some in my Lyman Deerstalker (usually shoot PRB).

My BIL gave me about a dozen TC Maxi-Hunters. 350gr that are lubricated with Natural Lube 1000+. The lube is all dried out so I cleaned them up. I'm getting away from using bore butter and was wondering if these projectiles have to be lubed. If so what are my options. Thanks in advance.

Also should I look for other conical options?

i hate lubed conicals. I always seem to be cleaning more dirt off them everytime i use them.

bees wax/crisco would make a good lube.
