Can anyone recommend a good scale for weighing BH209? I've been measuring via volume and want to go to weight. Thanks

I know there are digital scales out there that some people like. Can get expensive. Old style balance beam scales are more affordable. Depends on what you want and budget.

If you thought about reloading in the future?spend the good money for reloaders scale?

I won't be doing any reloading, and I don't shoot a ton. Just wondering if there was a good/accurate, inexpensive scale out there that you guys were using. I'll stick to volume measuring if not.

I use a Frankford Arsenal digital scale that does a good job. I don't remember what it cost when I bought it but don't think it was terrible expensive.

I've used balance scales since the 50s and SO happy to get rid of that crap a good ten years ago for a $35 digital scale that reads to +/- .02 grains. I use it for BPCR black powder PPBs as well as the white devil dust cartridges.

I have an RCBS 5-02 I'm not using.
Getting ready to down size on reloading equipment.

Based on recommendations from Idaholewis, and multiple other members here, I purchased a Frankford Arsenal DS-750, Digital Pocket Reloader's Scale. It cost $35.00 with Amazon Prime.

I do recall him mentioning that the pan device that came with the scale was pretty worthless, so I purchased a brass RCBS Scale Pan.

Later, I purchased the RCBS Deluxe Scale Weight Check Set for checking on the scales accuracy.

I shopped around for everything, looking for the best prices. I just used Midway USA's website here because of its excellent images for illustrative purposes.
