My grandson Gage shot a doe Saturday afternoon. 87 yards with a CVA Scout conversion, dropped her like a sack in her tracks. His 4th doe.

It was in Cass on private ground. My grandson and I can hunt but doe only.

I hunt mostly LaSalle County, but go down to Perry for 1st gun to hunt family property.

That is some nice ground down there. Used to go thru it to get to Lake Kincaid outside Murphysboro to fish and hunt turkey's.
