Mounted a new scope on the rifle, and wished to see some results. Already been out a couple of times. It snowed yesterday about half foot. Seemed too cold to shoot, out in the snow, so shot from inside the four wheel drive. The four wheel drive made easy work of the trip, plus kept the shooter warm whilst shooting.
Shot 81 weighed grain of 777ff, Vegetable fiber wad, sized to fit loose Fury 265g STB, CCI shotgun primer. Swabbed between shots. Shot a few times at 79 yard, then moved target out to 150 yard. Three shots at top bull. Guess all that's left is to switch the powder charge to Blackhorn equivalent.
