Loads For Javelina

I am new to Muzzle loading, I have a TC Encore on layaway. I should be getting it out soon, as soon as I get my safety bonus. Most likely in a week or two. My question is, what grain bullet and bullet should I use for Javelina? What would you guys suggest as a good starting point to work up a load? I have a Javelina tag here in AZ, on February 24Th. I will be hunting with open sights. I appreciate the help.

I'd probably start out with either a 200gr or 250gr Shockwave on top of 100gr ffg Triple Se7en or 2 Triple Se7en pellets. Those loads are plenty good for a whitetail and they should be fine for a Javalina.

Hey Blue,
I`ll be hunting Javelina Feb-Mar. I won`t be using my ML though. I`ll be hunting with my Winchester 94 30-30 180 grain. I`ll be hunting in unit 34A. Good luck working up a load for your hunt.
