Well, I've been cruising this board for a few day's and I have already found some great info.
I'm not new to muzzleloading, but I am new to the inline. I just purchased a new Knight Shadow... seems I am a first around here, so I will report back all things good and bad.

I also seen you have a how to section, so once I get all the kinks worked out I will post a section with pics and such about this rifle. (pay it forward).

I've hunted and taken several whitetails with a 45 cal T/C Saint Louis Hawken's, shooting a patched round ball behind 60 grains. So this buisness of hunting Elk with a 405 gr bullet is all new to me.

Welcome to the forum. A lot of deer fall to the old traditional rifles and roundball. Know your distance and load and the rest is easy...
